Do not buy Surface Book 2!

Before you buy the  Surface Book 2 do yourself a favor and extensively Google problems with this device. I wish I had purchased an Apple. My keyboard does not work at all and of course I am out of the warranty by a few months. This was a super expensive mistake. To anyone out there considering purchase, please do your research and know that Microsoft will not replace defective keyboards beyond 12 months.

I started to think about the same too...Also the support site is misleading, avoiding to report issues, well known, but addressed in the internet broadly....So bad for Microsoft, with such arrogant and of very low quality customer support...I am wondering how they will be able to become big in this market, unless they don't care, failing for one more time....

My story in general : I had an issue with my device, I exchange it, same problem and when the coronavirus period ends I will try to get a refund and probably buy an Apple.

Same for me, i bought mine in jan 2019 and it just died, nothing is responding at all, i tried all the tricks online to wake it and nothing. Microsoft is more than happy to help me out..that is by giving them $600 to replace the unit cause its out of warranty. Absolutely no

willingness to stand by their product.

my unit was only 2 months out of warranty when it crashed. The part that hurts is i schedule volunteer work on the device and its gone and i have no access to the info on the device with NO help from microsoft. Dozens of volunteers and hundreds of scheduled hrs lost...Thanks microsoft 😒.
