I was trying to change the surface duo launcher to nova however it overlays two sets of apps. So I then tried another launcher and did the same thing. So for some reason they do not work on duo. Is there any way around that?

I hope some upcoming update will fix this, i really would like to use Nova and my icon set; I actually got it to work when i got the device, and then when i changed some of the layout it started to show both sets of icons and i reverted to the standard launcher; incidentally, i tried to install the Microsoft launcher from google store, the one i had on my Samsung, and it says it is not compatible! I guess the Microsoft Launcher on the Duo is not the same Microsfot launcher for other android phones - which sucks... at least with that one i could have customized the icon set!

When i tried that it did not work. I used nova launcher it is not aware of the split in the screen. So apps and settings are obscured.

Thanks, it seems to work (with Nova); i am losing probably some of the features that were in the built in launcher, but so far it looks like it is working ok.
