Hi, MWARCILLA!
Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Community and posting your concerns. We understand you wish to get a tax invoice of the Surface Pro 7 you purchased. We deeply apologize for the troubles you have to go through. This is not the experience we want you to have. We thank you for taking the time to let us know about this and allowing us to help you out here.
Any purchases made online through Microsoft.com will have its official receipt stored in the Microsoft Account signed in to complete the transaction. All purchase history can be found at Microsoft Account Order History page. You just refine the search to show all types of purchases that are in progress, returned/refunded, digital, and physical. There is also a filter when the purchase was made: past 3 months, past 6 months, past year, and all available. It will look like this image below:
Once you find the order to its right, you just click on ORDER DETAIL.
It will show you the Order number, item purchased, date of purchase, payment method used, status of the purchase (completed/declined/refunded), billing address, subtotal, tax, and total. Under the date, there is an option to print it. On my end, I am able to see those information and the option to print the official receipt to my printer and also save it as PDF.
We hope this guides you on how to obtain the copy of the proof-of-purchase that contains the tax included with the purchase you made. If this answers your question, please let our Community know by marking this post as an answer. Otherwise, don't hesitate to respond to this thread if there’s anything else that needs to be addressed.
Kind regards,
Janette_Z
