I have a Surface Laptop 4 and have an external rhode mic which I need to use. The mic has a 3.5 mm and I need for it to work with the surface4. What adapter is approved that will work?

    Surface Laptop 4 has a 3.5mm headphone jack where you can try plugging in your external microphone on it. Once plugged in, select your microphone as Recording device. Try these steps below:

    • Open Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound
    • Go to Recording tab, then select your microphone and Set as default.
    • Click Apply then OK.

    Otherwise, please check How to set up and test microphones in Windows (microsoft.com).
