I tried switching to tablet mode and still won't work. I tried "setup" and it works fine, but "calibrate" doesn't.
Would that be a big issue in the future? Do I need to return and get a new device?

Just got a new surface pro 7 today and the calibration for pen and touch just doesn't work. After I click calibrate it ask me if I allow this app to change my computer, and I click yes. But nothing pops out, just a notification sound. It's the same no matter I choose pen calibration or touch calibration.
How can I fix this? Are there other calibration tools?

I had a SP7 i7 16Gb 512Gb and was having issues with the inking being "wobbly" when handwriting.
Support asked me to calibrate and I had the same issue - nothing popped up.
(Return device but new one shows the same "wobble" ... making my handwriting look extra childish.)
Did you find a solution? Mine is doing the same thing.
I went in to Microsoft.com and found the Drivers for the Touch screen. I made sure my drivers were up to date and see if it was installed first. Just make sure all the drivers are in the Device Manger. If not there you have to go and download them from the Microsoft.com and search for the Device Driver you need.
Thanks for the response, what do you mean by "Drivers for the Touch screen"? How to make sure that we have all the necessary drivers?
