When I open the handwrite to text option, only one line is available for me to write on. On the SP 3 there were two.  what settings do I go to to get more writing lines?

    Hello Judi Gee.

Welcome to Microsoft Community and we are here to help.

For your handwriting option, you may need to reconfigure this option if you reset. You can reconfigure handwriting recognition by searching Cortana for Control Panel then find Clock, Language and Region> Language > choose "options" for your language > Personalize Handwriting Recognition.

If the issue is not resolved, you can contact Support here.

If you are in the United States, it is also advisable to visit the nearest store in your area to further check your Surface Pro 4.

    Best regards.

I was in contact with MS Support and they advised me that the SP4 by design only has one writing line, which is too bad for me (but unchangeable).

I have another problem when writing stylus to text, which is repeating - for example, if I write with the stylus "Judi is on time" the text comes up as "JJuJudJudiJudiisJudiisonJudisiontiJudiisontime", like every time i write a new letter it re-reads the whole word from the beginning.

Any thoughts on how to correct this?
