    Hi the-emperor,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

It sounds like you're encountering issues with the "Find my device" feature on your Surface Go 3 and Go 4, and it's not detecting your location properly.

When you set up a new device, you can decide whether to turn on or turn off the Find my device setting. If you turned it off during setup and now want to turn it on, make sure your Windows device is connected to the internet, has enough battery power so it can send its location, and that you're signed in to the device using your Microsoft account.

On the device that you want to change: Select Start  > Settings  > Privacy & security  > Find my device.

Note: You can locate a shared device only if you have an administrator account on it. On the shared device, select Start  > Settings  > Account  > Your info  to see if you're an administrator.

Check if a Microsoft Account Sync Issue Exists: Try signing out and back into your Microsoft account.

Let me know if you need further assistance or have any questions about these steps!

    Your Sincerely

    hi,

please see screen shot. it is turned on.

    i am administrator.

i have signed in / out.

    i have reboot several times.

I have set NO battery saver. always on.

still location unknown, and on Go3, location disabled.

    Update:

I have updated Surface Go4 firmware from microsoft.

I still get device location disabled on my microsoft account.

but now when I use my phone to log into my microsoft account, the find my device page will show up.

it still say my Surface go4 location is disabled, but when I click on the Turn On, my surface go4 gives me a message it is being located. Then it will list the approximate location of my Surface Go4. yet, u still see Location disabled for the device.

other than that, it seems to be working.
