My wifi disappeared. I followed the 4 solutions given for this online to restart the network adapter and none worked. When enabling the network adapter, a Code 10 error results.

What are my next steps? Could this be a hardware issue?

This occureed with a Surface 7 with Windows 11 today at 11:15 am est.

Boot to the UEFI and disable the wifi. Wait 20 seconds and re-enable it.

    1. Shut down your Surface.
    2. Press and hold the volume-up button on your Surface and at the same time, press and release the power button.
    3. When you see the Surface logo, release the volume-up button.
The UEFI menu will display within a few seconds.

What does device manager report after you do this after restarting?

Use another computer, go to Download Surface Pro 7 Drivers and Firmware from Official Microsoft Download Center and download SurfacePro7_Win11_22000_21.092.22602.0.msi and transfer to the SP7 over USB.

On the SP7, uninstall the Intel Network Wifi Adapter and check the box to DELETE the driver. Don't restart. Now run the MSI. Then restart. Does anything change?

    Barb:

I deleted the driver, installed the one you linked, and restarted. I still have the same Code 43 error showing for my network adapter.
