Broken Surface Pro 1 Screen

As the title mentioned, i accidently dropped my Surface Pro 1 screen causing a black spot on the screen.

No physical damage outside to be found, it seems like the outside part of the screen is as good as it should be (no crack etc since it dropped and only the tab's edge hit the ground) so probably its inside.

But when i did a screenshot, it seems the black spot is nowhere to be found also.

Therefore i am not sure what is the problem since i lack the knowledge regarding this.

  1. What part should i replace ? Glass screen or whole LCD set or LED ?
  2. Estimation of the price if anyone knows, would definitely be helpful.

(Warranty period has ended)

Attached is an image of how it looks like (Check out the bottom left corner of the screen. Thanks in advance.

unlikely you will be able to do this. Microsoft does not have parts available

and even if you were under warranty they would replace with a refurb and not

    repair it.
