how to use ins(insert) key at surface laptop1

there is ins key at top right of surface laptop's keyboard. but it doesn't work even if i tried every key combination. (i.g : alt + ins, Fn + ins, Ctrl + ins and so on) it works as Del function always. please tell me how to use ins key

    Thanks for reaching Microsoft Surface Community. I'm sorry to hear with regards on your concern. You may try the steps provided on this link. It's actually a Surface Book 2 but it's almost the same set up on the Surface Laptop 1.
