Where is the alt key on the onscreen keyboard?

This has now moved from PC Settings..General to Devices..Typing (start by swiping in from the right and selecting AllSettings)

It's so thoughtful of MS to have it turned off by default, wouldn't want people to accidentally find out it was available after all, far better to hide it in a setting screen somewhere and make people waste their time figuring it out. 

Of course the only reason I needed to figure this out is because Chrome has suddenly decided that alt <- is a better back key than backspace. 

Gotta love technology.

LCRT is correct. Under General in PC Settings, you will need to enable the option for Make the standard keyboard layout available. Once that is enabled the full keyboard option will appear when using the onscreen keyboard and using the button to switch keyboard layouts.

i believe the full keyboard option needs to be enabled first in pc settings, then you can use the steps suggested above.

You have to switch to the full size onscreen keyboard for that key, which is done from the keyboard icon in the bottom right of the onscreen keyboard.
