Hello,

I'm trying to install Windows 11 but it cannot complete because their is not enough space on my C: Drive. How do I expand/increase my C: Drive space?

Is an SD Card an option??

Thank you!

    Hi Pilot11187,

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community. I'm sorry to hear about the issue you encounter when upgrading to Windows 11.

May I know what is the specification of your Surface Go 2 (RAM and ROM storage)?

How much free space is available on the C drive of the device?

May I know where are trying to install Windows 11? Is it through Windows Settings or by using the Installation Assistant (Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com))?

To answer the question if an SD card is an option: No, since Windows should be installed on the C drive of the device.

Please try first to free up some space on the C drive of the device by moving some of your files to your SD card or an external drive.

    Hope this helps.
