Surface Pro 3 stuck in airplane mode

Question

Installed windows 10 on my surface pro 3, initially no problems - but now it is stuck in airplane mode and will not show any network options.  Looking for advice on how to fix this problem.  Thanks!

For some unknown reason my SP3 which has been successfully running Win 10 for 9 months, went into airplane mode and it would not let me take it out.

I tried rebooting multiple times, the network troubleshooting tool, and accessing the wireless adapter settings through the Network and Sharing Center which it would not let me do.

Totally dead in the water as far as internet connectivity.  Very frustrating.

Other "solutions" to reload Win 10 which did not solve problem for others sounded like a total waste of time and trouble.

So I found this 60 second fix and it worked like a champ!

are you running Cisco VPN or other third party networking program that uses the

DNE? third party anti virus?

Man this drove me crazy forever! Windows 10.. airplane mode stuck.. pro 3

What finally worked for me was locking the device then going to the lock screen. Swipe left from the right side and hit airplane mode in the blue bar that should appear along the vertical right side! Hope it works for others!

*UPDATE: Sometimes swiping doesn't work on the lock screen.  Tap the wifi icon or airplane icon at the bottom right (might need to tap outside password field to get these icons to appear).  You can get wifi on itself by troubleshooting it through the control panel-- it will enable the radio somehow.  Couldn't get BT to work until I was able to disable airplane mode from the lock screen.

I can not turn off airplane mode on my surface  3 after reboot an upgrade to Windows 10. Help
