I have an old Surface Tablet, 32 GB, with Windows 8.1. I don't know the model number? I need to purchase a replacement battery. My serial number begins with 047059... I bought it refurbished on eBay five years ago. Can you help identify the model number and or replacement battery number?

There are NO replacement batteries for Surface devices. And if you try to open the case, it usually bricks the device. You can go to https://mybusinessservice.surface.com/en-US/CheckWarranty/CheckWarranty and it will probably tell you what you need to know.
