    Hi Verode Pero,

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community. I'll be asking few questions to better isolate the issue.

Do you mean your device is a Surface Laptop? a photo of the keyboard would be more helpful.

Any changes you made prior to this happen?

You may force the device to shutdown and restart.

Press and hold down the power button until your Surface shuts down and restarts and you see the Windows logo screen (about 20 seconds), then release the power button.

Check Windows Updates and make sure all updates are installed including optional updates.

Go to Settings >> Update and Security >> Windows updates >> Check for updates

Boot the Surface device to UEFI screen and see if issue persist.

    1. Shut down your Surface and wait about 10 seconds to make sure it's off.
    2. Press and hold the volume-up button on your Surface, and, at the same time, press and release the power button.
    3. The Microsoft or Surface logo appears on your screen. Continue to hold the volume-up button. Release the button once the UEFI screen appears.
    4. Under Date and Time test the key if issue persist.

Let me know if issue does exist in UEFI screen.

    Kind regards,

    Lavenia
