No touch capability in middle of screen and squiggly lines in middle of screen when drawing with pen. What to do?

Seems to be a problem in the middle of the screen from top to bottom.

In between the red lines is the middle of the screen.

Lines are incapable of being straight or simply break up like with the blue lines.

I cannot even use the on screen keyboard keys in the middle of the screen.

It is the same in sketch book, paint and photoshop.

I used the reset this pc feature and it is still the same.

I just bought my surface pro a week ago.

What can I do?

    We're here to help. Is this the first time you have encountered this issue? What other troubleshooting steps you have tried so far aside from resetting your Surface? Also, make sure that the device has the latest updates installed.
