Hello,
today I downloaded the "Microsoft Surface Pro 3 TPM Update Tool". With the tool I created a boot stick and the stick was (supposedly) created successfully.
When I boot the computer from the stick, I seem some boot activities, but then, when the "startup.nsh" file is to be executed I get the error:
'\efi\Android\BOOTx64.EFI' is not recognized as an internal or external operable program, or batch file
After I reboot the Sufrace Pro 3, the TPM firmware is still the same as before.
Does anyone have any ideas why the USB Stick not executing properly?
Thanks.
Kind regards,
Carlos

Hi Barb,
here is the link to the Surface Pro 3 firmware download page:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=38826
Hope it helps in the troubleshooting. Thanks.
Kind regards,
Carlos
thanks - it wasn't there the last time I looked a week or so ago.
Hi Barb,
have you been able to find out what is wrong with the update tool?
Thanks.
Carlos
They don't think there is anything wrong. They state that it is OK to format it
and prepare it on your SP3. Use a 16GB USB stick. Format it FAT32 on your
Surface and then run the MSI tool.
