I have Swiftkey supposedly activated on my Surface Pro.  This is supposed to let you type on a QUERTY keyboard in the language of preference, including the autocorrect. feature.  It still types English even though I have indicated a specific language.  Can anyone help?

    Hi Anita3,

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community.

Please make sure first that the language you preferred is selected as input method. Go to Windows Settings > Time & Language > Language. Under Preferred languages, make sure the language you need is added then click Choose an input method to always use as default below. On the next page under Override for default input methoddrop down, select the language you preferred.

After doing the steps above, make sure SwiftKey is turned On for the preferred language. Go to Windows Settings > Devices > Typing. Select Suggestions and corrections, make sure the toggle is ON for the preferred language. Close Settings then test if the still the issue persist.

    Hope this helps.
