I have been able to wake the screen by touching immediately after tablet screen goes dark but waiting like 30 more seconds and screen will not

come back on until pressing power button?

    Hi Tom Black Jr,

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community. We appreciate for sharing your concern to us.

On your Surface device, you can check to see if the Wake on touch feature is supported by heading to System settings >> Bluetooth & devices >> Touch. Verify whether the "Touch the screen to wake" option is available to set on or off.

if the touch settings page's wake-on-touch option is not present. Then the Surface Go 3 does not support Wake on Touch feature. You may wake the device by pressing a key on the keyboard or use the Power button.

    Kind regards,

    Lavenia
