I am trying to boot a usb to install new operating system but maybe uefi settings won't allow me to. Here's my specs

Surface 2 windows RT 8.1 2gb 32GB. I was able to confirm in powershell that uefi secureboot settings is enabled. How can I install new OS on this?

No. It's an ARM processor and none of the current hypervisors support that.

You can't "jailbreak" a Surface 2/RT to install a different OS.

Surface 2/RT can only install apps from the Windows Store. You can't install

    anything else.
