On surface pro x, when prompt to enter password or code, it does nothing.

On surface pro x, when prompt to enter password or code, it does nothing. i can tap on forgot password or email code but thats it.

    Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community. We're sorry for the trouble this has caused you.

    Are you referring to the sign-in screen? or you're trying to log in to an application?

    Did you get a chance to input your code or password?

    What will be displayed once your password has been entered?

    You may try to Force the device to shut down and restart.

    Press and hold down the power button until your Surface shuts down and restarts and you see the Windows logo screen (about 20 seconds), then release the power button.

    Let me know if this doesn't work. A photo of the issue would be more helpful.
