Thank you for reaching out Microsoft Community. The new Surface Laptop 3 can definitely receive charge via USB-C port for USB Type-C Power Delivery chargers that deliver 7.5W to 60W.

    Would a portable battery pack that supports PD charging with a maximum of 30W output work for charging the Surface Laptop 3?

    What if you have a power supply that supplies more than 60 watts, for example 65 or 80 watts?
