I don't think Win 11 changes anything in this regard.
Surface Laptop Go : text is kind of blurry - any help or should I just return it to amazon ?
Hello
Just got a good deal on a laptop go on amazon ("acceptable" state) ... but the text is kind of blurry (especially with smaller fonts), any help ??
I already tried the ClearType tuning tool ...
Also what is weird is that the text is also kind of "blurry" (not smooth and crisp) in the UEFI despite the fonts being quite big there (but kind of "thin") ...
(I ve also asked in
https://www.reddit.com/r/Surface/comments/ove3s5/surface_laptop_go_smallest_text_kind_of_too_small/ )
I am thinking of just returning it to amazon as this maybe an issue with my particular item ...
Thanks !

2021-08-01T11:51:47+00:00 I'll let others offer a fix, if that's possible, but personally I would return it. It's only a good deal if it works properly and to your expectations.

The text in the UEFI should not be blurry. If it were me, I'd return it and repurchase.

2021-08-02T09:45:27+00:00 thank you for the advice ... actually I didn't mean blurry (sorry I am not a native english speaker) but not "smooth and crisp" ... btw I went to my local store and I saw the same issue with their Laptop Go ... but I discovered that text rendering was better in ChromeOS or MX Linux than in Win10 ...
... any idea if Microsoft improved text rendering with Win11 ??
thanks !
