Thank you so much for reaching our Surface Community. I'm really sorry to hear about the hinge of your Surface Laptop. With regards to the any physical related issues we highly recommend you to visit any Local Microsoft Store to have our Technician there check the device physically or have it replaced there on the spot. But we may need to give proper expectation to this that different Microsoft stores has different policies depending on the management’s discretion. Also they may need to look at their stocks sometimes for exchange. We can advise to call them first to save time.
