    Hello, PFS Enquiries.

    Welcome to Microsoft Community!

Forgetting a PIN does sometimes cause problems for us, so I'll provide you with this link if you'd like to access your device through your Microsoft account and would like to resolve the account issue:

Microsoft account | Sign in or Create Your Account Today – Microsoft

The site does help us manage our Microsoft accounts.

However, I would still like to know the specific error message you are currently experiencing when you are unable to log in, which would better enable me to understand what you are experiencing.

If you are still unable to log in to your device in the usual way, for your possible needs, I would recommend that you go to the recovery screen to reset the device.

I'll provide the corresponding program here:

    1. Make sure the device is turned off:
      • Make sure the Surface Pro 8 is completely turned off.
    2. Enter recovery mode:
      • Press and hold the Volume Down button while pressing the Power button.
      • When you see the Surface logo, release the volume down button.
    3. Select the Recovery option:
      • The device boots into the recovery environment. On the Select an Option screen, select Troubleshooting.
      • Then select “Reset this computer”.
    4. Select the reset method:
      • You can reset your device by selecting “Keep my files” or “Delete everything”. Select the option that suits you and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset process.

You can try these steps to enter recovery mode and reset your Surface Pro 8.

After resetting our Surface Pro 8, you will be able to re-access your device.

Finally, please allow me to express my sincere wishes.

    Best Regards.
