Replacing Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 trackpad

Question

My trackpad protective coating has been peeling off recently, and I accidentally used a harsh cleaning detergent, which deformed the trackpad surface. It still works, but it is not ideal.

My laptop is out of warranty, and I want to do self-repairs. I have the necessary skills to do it. But, I cannot find any sellers who sell a trackpad or keyboard replacement. Ifixit is out of stock for my color, and same as Microsoft store. Can anyone please help me find a vendor for a sandstorm Microsoft Surface Laptop go 2 trackpad or keyboard replacement?

Surface is a premium brand - I don't think you can get spare parts for it except on eBay I am afraid.

Mine was doing the same. I just scratched the rest of the coating off and cleaned it with rubbing alcohol. (nice and shiny underneath) I will add a precut screen protector when I feel it is necessary. They sell them now in all colors. I like the way it looks now, better than before!
