Input issues on Windows 11 on Surface pro 7+

Yesterday I bought Surface Pro 7+ that came with Windows 11 and I have following issues:

  • I have autocorrect, word suggestion, spell check and always start sentence with capital letter enabled, but none of these options are present. It never suggests capital letter, nor does any spell check or correcting.
  • It doesn't register keyboard usage in statistics, it shows like I never wrote. It's enabled.

I use touch keyboard only, I tried changing layouts and languages it didn't help.

  • It never offers handwriting options for pen, even though pen works. It's enabled.
  • OneNote doesn't offer to change my pen written notes to text, option is always grayed out.
  • Surface app doesn't see my pen, I paired it, but it's still not visible in the app, so I can't change pressure settings.

I have Raphael 520 BT pen and it works on the screen as mouse and in Whiteboard app.

How do I fix these issues?

Are you talking about Office Apps or something else?

As for the pen, Microsoft only supports the Surface pens in the Surface app (and unfortunately, there is no support or trouble shooting for third party pens).

Not office, but everywhere such as browser. No where I start typing any of settings are applied.

I don't get handwriting option anywhere, even with everything enabled, including write with finger.

The issue with the auto correct, etc.:

looks like a bug. I CAN reproduce this. Can you please use the Feedback Hub App to file this as a problem report? I can sometimes get underlined words on misspelled words, but no autocorrect or auto capitalization of first word.

    As for

This is a little muddied because you are not using a Surface Pen. If you manually switch to the pen menu, can you write or not?

Suggest you post the OneNote issue in the Office forum as it requires an Office 365 subscription to work - see Change handwritten ink to text or math in OneNote for Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

    I will send the bug.

There is not Handwriting option for me as shown on the video. Do I need to enable it somewhere? I didn't find anything that seems like it's disabled.
