Why won't the Surface Go 3 have an ARM version???

I am considering buying the Surface Go 3 for some light tasks (i3-10100Y, 8GB, 128GB), yet when i read various reviews, all it said is that this Surface has bad battery life. Why won't this thing have an ARM version or something??? Now I found a much better laptop that costs about the same as this thing, but have a much more powerful processor and 512GB of space, with 8GB of RAM. It's just pointless buying this stupid Surface.

Update: Maybe one of these processors:

Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ Snapdragon 7c
Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ Snapdragon 7c Gen2
Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ Snapdragon 8c
Surface | Surface Go | Power and battery

Well, that may happen in the near future. Microsoft did get with Qualcom to develop a newer ARM processor but it takes time to do that. You may not see one until the next generation of Surface machines come out.

We have no inside knowledge of what Microsoft plans to do. You'd be better off asking Microsoft directly.
