White/Black dot on notification bar / screen

Hi microsoft, 

There seemed to be a dead pixel on duo screen. Sometimes it turned white, sometimes it turned black and sometimes it just disappeared. Is this a software bug or dead pixel?

    Hi eveyone

    Just to update after the November update. The black dot is probably indicating there are more than 3 notifications and as long as notifications are cleared to 3 or less, the black dot disappeared. May not be a dead pixel. Pls share your thoughts if you had experienced similar. Thanks.

    Hello, 

    The dots would indicate that there's more than 3 notifications on your Surface Duo and can't display all notifications. Please check and clear your notifications to confirm this.

    Why is there black or white dot? I am on dark mode all the time.
