Hello, Mickael Zeltzer.
Welcome to Microsoft Community!
I understand that you currently have some questions about using the Surface Laptop 7 with a stylus, so allow me to share the following information with you:
The Surface Laptop 7 comes with a PixelSense Flow touchscreen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 10-point touch. While this screen excels in the touch experience, it doesn't have a touchpoint design optimized specifically for a stylus.
As a new generation of Laptop products, Microsoft designed the Surface Laptop 7 with the main concern of providing a productive laptop for daily office, study and entertainment. As a result, Microsoft designed the device to focus more on the keyboard, touchpad and overall user experience rather than handwriting input. This is also a change that was made to better differentiate between user groups.
In contrast, the Surface Pro series' screens are specifically designed with stylus-recognition contacts to provide a better handwriting and drawing experience. If you need to use the stylus frequently for handwriting or drawing, the Surface Pro series may be a better fit for your needs.
These are some of the information I can share with you now.
Thank you for your understanding and support of Surface products and I wish you all the best.
Best Regards.
