Hi,

An old work email, which has been deleted, is linked to the security settings of my surface pro. It allowed me to add my current microsoft account, but when i try to change the settings for unlocking my laptop it's requiring me to use the old email. I tried an account recovery form, but the account no longer exists! Please help!

Thanks for the reply. I have added my microsoft account that was created with my personal email to my computer, however - when I go to the sign-in options in the settings to change the pin/etc it wants me to log in with a school or work email, not personal. I no longer have access to the work or school emails I've had.

May I know if this device is a company provided device?

Hey there, it is not a company issued device. I purchased it new from a retailer.
