My SP4 shows only "balanced" under Power Plans. Is this normal? shouldn't there be a "high" and "low"?

    Hi Ryan,

We can help you look into this.

Surface devices are devices which support Connected standby that is why the power plan available is only Balanced.

If you want to set a power plan to match your device usage, we suggest creating a power plan instead by clicking the Create a power plan button on the left corner of the Power Options screen.

Let us know if you have further concerns.

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out. For your concern, there should be "Power Saver" aside from the "Balanced" power plan. Also, there's  should be "Show additional power plans" below it (as a drop-down menu). Have you checked it? Is it grayed out? To help you further, we suggest that you send us a screenshot.

Thank for your answer - I am not sure in your description whether you are referring to the "old" control panel or the settings... Anyway here is a screenshot from the control panel:

    Hello,

Thank you for updating us. The options that were mentioned earlier came from the old version of Windows. Since your device was pre-installed to Windows 10, those options were removed so that you can maximize the use of custom power plan at the left panel of the window.

Also, make sure the latest updates are installed for your device.
