Surface pen is connected on bluetooth, has a new battery, and I can write with my finger in appropriate apps, but the pen (it's barely been used) still doesn't work. I have rebooted the computer as well. Can anyone help? SUPER FRUSTRATING

    Hello DE59XT,

I appreciate you raising this concern to us, and I understand that you're having trouble with your Surface Pen. You got me here; we'll isolate this issue together.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Force your Surface to restart by pressing and holding the power button for 20 seconds and release once Windows logo appears on screen.
    2. Try resetting your Surface Pen by holding down the top button for 7-10 seconds until the LED light flashes white.
    3. Make sure your Surface device is up to date with the latest Windows updates. Go to Settings > Windows Update > Check for Updates > Install > Restart device.
    4. Run Surface Diagnostic Toolkit - Microsoft Apps.
    5. Unpair and re-pair your Surface Pen with your device. To do this, go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices > Add Bluetooth or other device > Bluetooth > Surface Pen.
    6. Download Drivers and Firmware: Download drivers and firmware for Surface - Microsoft Support
    7. Try using your Surface Pen on a different Surface device to see if the issue persists.

Please let me know how it goes. Hope it helps!
