    Hello, Ramon Rock.

    Welcome to Microsoft Community!

If you are able to confirm that this is an issue that occurred after the update, you can send the updated serial number to the thread for our documentation and feedback.

Surface Pro (11th Edition) update history - Microsoft Support

You can also observe whether problems occur when connecting directly to the monitor without connecting the Dock. This can help us determine if the Surface Dock 2 is faulty and you can share the results with me.

Honestly, I don't believe there is a hardware problem with your device. Allow me to share with you a link to get the hidden update tool and you can observe if there is a hidden option available:

    http://download.microsoft.com/download/F/2/2/F22D5FDB-59CD-4275-8C95-1BE17BF70B21/wushowhide.diagcab

(If the download bar in the top right of Edge suggests that the content is blocked, click on the keep option of the three dots to the right of the file)

If you are unable to find the corresponding option to hide, or are consistently plagued by the issue, I recommend getting in touch with the Surface Technical Support team for any possible assistance.

The community has not been involved in product development or system design. They have a more appropriate interpretation of version updates and you can refer to the following steps to create a service order:

Open the Surface App (usually built into your Surface device, or you can download it from the Microsoft Store if you don't have one) and follow the procedure below:

    1. Click "Help and Support" and then click "Get Help".
    2. Briefly describe your problem in the text box, such as "Surface can't connect to external monitors via Dock after update", and then press Enter.
    3. Click "Contact Support" at the bottom.
    4. Select "Technical Support" and click "Confirm".
    5. You will see "Chat support" and "Phone support" options, please contact them during working hours, you will get one-to-one support services.

The above is what I can share with you at this time.

Thank you for your understanding and support of the Microsoft community.

    Best Regards.

Hi, I have a similar problem. I have a corporately supported Surface Laptop 5 connected via a Surface Dock 2 to two external displays/monitors. However, following a recent Microsoft update I'm only able to use a single external display. To be clear I've problem solved, testing all connections and cables and can confirm that both of the Mini DisplayPorts on the Surface Dock 2 provide an output and work independently but when you connect the second and try to connect and two external displays the output stops completely. At the moment I'm having to choose which one to use! These feels like a Microsoft software/firmware issue? As the laptop is corporately supported I'm unable to apply a local patch/fix.
