Is Microsoft Surface Pro X pen compatible with Windows 10 Pro?

I plan to buy a Microsoft Surface Pro X pen and is not sure if it's compatible with my Windows 10 Pro laptop. Is Pro X the same as 10 Pro?

This is the Microsoft Surface pen that I am referring to. Even though the Surface Pro X is different from Windows 10 Pro, will this pen still work with my Windows 10 Pro?
