Hello, MAK COLE.
Welcome to Microsoft Community!
Thank you for the pictures and description.
I have noticed that you find that the eraser function of the nib produces different results than the eraser function of the pen when using the CSP.
Perhaps you could shed some light on the eraser function of the CSP? For example, when we are using an application, we can click on the eraser in the toolbar so that the behavior of the pen tip becomes erasing. And the eraser of the pen itself will have a blurring effect on the input in CSP.
I'm not sure if this phenomenon happens in other applications. You can do a similar test in Windows Paintboard and share the results with me.
This may be an effect specific to CSP applications. It would also be helpful to know more about how the eraser behaves to help us determine if there are any issues with your Surface Slim Pen 2.
Of course, I also recommend that you manually get the driver and firmware installer for your Surface Pro 9 to troubleshoot unknown driver issues and maintain device performance:
Surface Pro 9 with Intel Processor | https://www.microsoft.com/download/details.aspx?id=104680 |
---|---|
Surface Pro 9 with 5G (SQ3 Processor) | https://www.microsoft.com/download/details.aspx?id=105941 |
You need to select the corresponding download link according to your CPU model.
These are some of the things we can do at this time and I look forward to your progress. I hope to be able to share as many ideas with you as possible.
Best Regards.
