Why is the Intel i5-7200u processor not supported? it meets the requirements set forth for speed and cores and its the processor in my Microsoft Surface Laptop that you Microsoft sold me.

    Hi Greg,

    Based on your description, I suspect that you actually have the original Surface Laptop and not a Surface Laptop 2 that this post was filed under.

    You can see the Surface devices that are upgradeable to Windows 11 at Which Surface devices can be upgraded to Windows 11? - Microsoft Support.

    To answer your specific question, the minimum processor that supports Windows 11 is the 8th generation Intel processor and as you noted, your device has a 7th generation processor. This does not meet the requirements.
