I have had this for about a year now and use it for school work. The left click on the track pad seems sunken in slightly compared to the right click and other corners. Sometimes when its stuck it wont unclick and i cant use the left click unless i tap on the touch pad. I prefer the physical click of the button underneath however. Is there anything that i can do? Im super carefull with my computer and nothing happend to it to be damaged. Is it covered under any waranties?

    Hi, RyanPeil!

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Community and posting your concerns. We are sorry to learn about the touchpad's left-click portion on your Surface Pro 6's Type Cover. Thanks for taking the time to let us know about this and allowing us to help you out here.

Based on the statement you shared that the left-click portion is somehow sunken compared to the right-click section, I am afraid this is a hardware and issue. We understand you have been extra careful with your devices and accessories then this happens. This is not the experience that we want you to have. The Type Cover for Surface Pro 6 also has a 1-year limited standard warranty. You may check this page to know more about Surface warranty information.

Also, you may Contact Microsoft Support for replacement options. If you are outside the US, please check this page to know the number for your country in our list of Global Customer Service phone numbers.

If this answers your question, please let our Community know by marking this post as an answer. Otherwise, don't hesitate to respond to this thread if there’s anything else that needs to be addressed.

    Kind regards,

    Janette_Z
