    Hi Bret Coughlin,

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community. I hope everyone is safe in the house.

I am aware that you're having issue with your Surface device that won't connect to your home Wi-fi. Let me help you on this and let us work on this together.

Kindly try the following steps below to troubleshoot your device.

Force the device to shut down and restart.

Press and hold down the power button until your Surface shuts down and restarts and you see the Windows logo screen (about 20 seconds), then release the power button. Turn airplane mode on and then back off.

    1. Go to Start and select Settings >Network & internet.
    2. For Airplane mode, turn it On, then turn it back Off.
    3. Select Wi-Fiand make sure that Wi-Fi is On.

    Run Windows Network Troubleshooter.

    1. Select Start and type settings.  Select Settings >System >Troubleshoot.
    2. Select Other Troubleshooters.
    3. Select Network Adapter > Run.
    4. Follow the steps in the troubleshooter and see if that fixes the problem.

Disable and enable network driver in Device Manager.

    1. Select Searchon the taskbar, enter Device Manager, and select it from the results.
    2. Select the arrow next to Network adaptersto expand the adapters list.
    3. Double-click your network adapter (Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX200 or AX201), select the Drivertab, and then select Disable Device.
    4. In the warning box, select Yes.
    5. Restart the network adapter by selecting Enable Device.
    6. Restart your Surface by selecting Start >Power >Restart. If you have updates pending, select Update and restart.

    Remove and reinstall driver.

    1. Select Searchon the taskbar, enter Device Manager, and select it from the results.
    2. Select the arrow next to Network adaptersto expand the adapters list.
    3. Double-click your network adapter, select the Drivertab, and then select Uninstall Device.
    4. Select Attempt to remove the driver for this device and then select Uninstall.
    5. Restart your Surface.

The troubleshooting can be found at Troubleshooting Wi-Fi connection on your Surface - Microsoft Support.

If you’re still having problems with your Wi-Fi network, see Fix Wi-Fi connection issues in Windows for other solutions.

I hope these works. Let me know how it goes.

    Kind regards,

    Lavenia
