I understand that you're experiencing an issue with the Power Adapter not working.

When you connect the power adapter, does the charging indicator light up? If you can access the system, does the battery icon in the lower-right corner of the desktop show that it's charging?

If you have another power adapter, please try connecting it to see if charging works.
