How to get physical keyboard to change language on Surface Laptop Pro.

(Moved from Windows11)

I have installed the Korean language pack on my Surface Laptop Pro. While I can change the language and my touchscreen keyboard input changes, the language input doesn't change on the Surface physical keyboard or external keyboard. Is this expected behavior?

    Hello KathKMB,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Community. I understand how important this set up for you.

Just to confirm, have you already tried doing the steps below to properly change the language keyboard entirely?

    1. Next to the date and time in the taskbar, you need to click on the abbreviation of the current language (ENG).
    2. Then, left click on your preferred language that you installed to set it as the new keyboard language.

Please confirm by simply respond on this thread. I'll wait for your response.

    Regards,

    StevenK

Yes, that is how I can get the keyboard to pop up on the tablet/touchscreen of the laptop.

Thanks for keeping me posted, KathKMB.

If I may ask, do you have another type cover that we could test with and see if issue still persists?

And also, is your existing keyboard configured in US physically?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by cover. I know where they letters are on the Korean keyboard so I do not need a cover if that is what you mean. I am physically in the US and this is a US laptop.
