Korean hanja input/assignable keys on keyboard?

I often need to type Korean hanja, and on my desktop would normally just convert the hangul characters to hanja by using the RIGHT control key. But, on the surface keyboard there is no RIGHT control key to do this. The only ways I have found to input hanja so far is to use the onscreen touch version of the keyboard, or to rightclick the the language bar to get to hanja conversion, but both of these are ridiculously fiddly for everyday/frequent hanja input.

Does anyone know a solution to this problem? And/or, is there anyway to assign shortcuts to other keys on the attachable surface keyboard? Ideally I would like to use the function key, or the LEFT control key [or any other key really] to just convert the hangul stack to hanja. Is this possible? Or is there another option I don't know about yet?

    I've been looking for the solution myself as well.

    I think you could use a key mapping utility to remap the left Ctrl key to be right Ctrl key.
