Hello,

Does anyone know "Detailed Instructions" on how to install Google Play Store apps onto a Microsoft Surface Pro 8 running Windows 11. Was told prior Surface Pro sale that this was a new feature with Windows 11 however my attempts have returned a number of different errors such as;

  1. app is already installed, when in fact it is not
  2. app is installed on another device, when it is presently not
  3. app will download shortly, when it never downloads

Thanks for your help.

    The feature has not been released. It is only in testing and you need to be in the Insiders Beta or dev channel. See Android Apps go to Windows 11 builds in the Beta Channel - Microsoft Community

    It supports only the Amazon App Store and has a limited amount of apps (and has mostly games), I think there are only 4 apps and the rest are games.

    This isn't an issue with your Surface...
