Hi there.

I purchased my Surface Laptop 2 about 4 months ago and yellow pressure marks have come on the screen. I can't remove them with suction or leaving the laptop out of a case or bag for a few days. It is not a software issue but a hardware issue. Does anyone else have this issue?

Can someone help please? 🙏

if you see these in the UEFI, you should exchange your Surface.

    1. Shut down your Surface and wait 10 seconds.
    2. Press and hold the volume-up button on your Surface and at the same

time, press and release the power button.

    1. The Microsoft or Surface logo appears on your screen. Continue to

hold the volume-up button. Release the button once the UEFI screen appears.

    Hi Barb.

    thanks for the reply.

i have gone into UEFI mode and the pressure marks are still there.

Should i go to to the store (which isn’t a Microsoft store) to replace it or contact Microsoft directly?

    Thanks again
