Can I install Vulkan 1.1 or greater on my Windows Pro 9 Surface with the SQ3 proccesser?

I don't see that Vulkan 1.1 or greater is supported for the SQ3 Qualcomm processor. I have a photo editing program that requires that to be installed to operate. Can I install those drivers on my Surface Pro? Or will this cause a problem?

Thanks

    Hello Todd Ladwig,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Community.

We understand how important this software is for your device.

We would like to inform you that Surface Pro 9 with SQ3 processor is an ARM-based PC. This means you'll need 64-bit (ARM64) apps, 32-bit (ARM32) apps, or 32-bit (x86) apps. You can usually find 32-bit (x86) versions of apps, but some app developers only offer 64-bit (x64) apps. (Most 64bit applications will run in emulation mode on Windows 11).

With that being said, it would be best to get in touch with your software developer to confirm if they have an architecture for the application designed for Windows ARM-based PC.

    Hope this helps.

    Best regards,

    StevenK
