My entire Microsoft office keeps crashing. I've reinstalled the entire package and it's continuing to crash. I get the error message pasted below for PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
"We're sorry, but PowerPoint [or Excel or Word] has run into error that is preventing it from working correctly. PowerPoint will need to be closed as a result."
I've have hit the "Repair Now" button numerous times and nothing happens.
As you have noticed, Repair Now often fails to work.
Instead, run an Online Repair from Windows Settings. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/repair-an-office-application-7821d4b6-7c1d-4205-aa0e-a6b40c5bb88b .
Note that you usually have to reinstall Office as part of the Online Repair. Before you begin, make sure that you can access your account and that Office is associated with it.
Hi Stefan, I let this run for about 18 hours (over night) and it was still "Updating" when I logged on this morning. Do you have any other suggestions?

Since the repar didn't complete in all that time, all you can do is to force an uninstall of Office (see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/microsoft-365/miscellaneous/assistant-office-uninstall) and then start fresh with a reinstallation.
