Mapping Drive won't accept username and password

My laptop (Win 11 Pro, ver. 24H2) wants username and password to connect to rest of my local network but keeps telling me "The username or password is incorrect." The only U/N and P/W I know are my MS U/N and P/W.

It use to work but I've left it sitting for over 6 months

I have 3 desktops (win 11 Pro, Win 11 Pro, and Win 7 Pro) that all have no problems. The laptop won't map drives from any of them, though they can all map it's drive. I also have 2 WD MyCloud drives which the laptop can map.

In Start Search type credential and hit the Enter key:

    Open "Windows Credentials"

Remove any old network credentials for your desktop computers

Try connecting again - Windows will prompt for fresh credentials

Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced network settings

    Click "Advanced sharing settings"

Ensure "Network discovery" and "File and printer sharing" are turned ON for your current network profile

Under "All Networks," set "Public folder sharing" to ON and "Password protected sharing" to OFF (temporarily)

Use Local Account Credentials Instead of Microsoft Account
