Trying to add web job on azure portal, which I have done many times. After I select the zip file, the screen shows a frown face icon on a dark gray background, and i cannot create the job. Only thing new is that I recently added azure repos? I tried selecting a zip file that worked previously and got same result.

Issue: Trying to add web job in the azure portal, get frown face after selecting zip file

solution: So, today, on my first try, it worked. I was able to add the webjob. All I did even the slightest bit differently was to clean and rebuild the entire project, instead of just building the console app.

Hi, I have tried/checked all of these things, including, as I had mentioned in the question, that I tried existing zip files that I know worked previously. I just checked my permission (access) and azure says the following: 'Service Administrator - Has full access to all resources in the subscription'. Just an fyi, there are currently 13 webjobs running successfully in the webapp in question, I just can't get past entering a zip file when creating a new webjob. This is quite difficult to solve with just the frown face and no real error message. I have been using webjobs for many years with no issue. This happened suddenly. In regards to azure repos, what could it possibly be that adding that resource could have changed something to cause this issue? Any other thoughts would be great, as there is very little on the web for this issue. Thank you.
