the smart charging selection is not showing in the surface app. CoPilot says:

Update the Surface App

  • Open the Microsoft Store app
  • Go to Library > Get updates
  • Make sure the Surface app is version 74.8150.129.0 or later

But the latest version in the store and on your download site is .127

How can i get .129?

Sometimes Copilot is just misleading. It shows newer than 74.... and you should have 75.......127 which is newer and was installed for me on all my Surface devices 6/27.

as for the issue itself, which exact Surface Pro do you have? Is your Surface charging to 80% or100% currently? Was Smart Charging previously showing in the Surface App or has it never shown up?Others have reported that the Smart Charging option has gone missing and have resolved it by going to Settings.. Apps and Resetting the Surface app, then shutting down completely and restarting.

    Hello SagivShiv-3626,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A.

I also checked my Microsoft Store. What is shown in the update list is indeed.127:

    文本 AI 生成的内容可能不正确。

Even after I checked for updates in the Store, it still showed 75.6120.127.0.

But let's focus on your question. Could you please tell us which model of Surface Pro you are using? Usually in the Surface App, you should be able to see "Battery & Charging", where the smart charging option will be displayed. If the method is convenient, could you share some screenshots from the Surface App so that we can clearly identify the problem?

Perhaps I should give priority to recommending that you try manually downloading the driver and firmware package compatible with your Surface model:

Download drivers and firmware for Surface - Microsoft Support

    图形用户界面, 文本, 应用程序 AI 生成的内容可能不正确。

After the installation is complete, restart your Surface and then open the Surface App again to confirm.

    Best Regards,
