Clip to OneNote has not worked in Edge for some years now. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it and still does not work. I have to copy the address for the page into Chrome in order to clip the notes to OneNote.

Is Microsoft planning to fix this or not?

    Hello John Allen,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience with the OneNote Web Clipper in Microsoft Edge. I understand how frustrating it is to rely on another browser to use this feature, and I appreciate you taking the time to let us know.    At this time, we are aware that some users have encountered issues with the OneNote Web Clipper extension in Edge. While we do not have a specific timeline or announcement to share regarding a fix.    In the meantime, here are a few troubleshooting steps you might try, if you haven’t already:

    1. Update Edge to the latest version.
    2. Clear Edge’s cache and cookies.
    3. Try using the Web Clipper in Edge’s InPrivate mode to see if another extension might be interfering.
    4. Check the extension’s permissions in Edge to ensure it has the access it needs.    If the issue persists, you can continue to use the workaround you mentioned, or you can submit feedback directly through the Edge browser (Menu > Help and feedback > Send feedback) and the OneNote Web Clipper extension. This helps the product teams prioritize and address the issue.

    Best regards,
